How to make the webinar recording available to Learners
Some Learners may be unable to attend the webinar on the day. Or you may want to turn the webinar recording into a course of its own. This article provides recommendations on how to upload the webinar recording to existing and new courses.
1. Once you have completed the webinar, we recommend removing the webinar course from sale so that no new Learners enrol.
To do this, open the course and click 'Remove from sale' top right of the screen. This will not affect existing learners enrolled to the course, they will be able to complete any additional resources, assessments and self-reflection as required.
2. You may want to make the recording available to Learners who were enrolled to the original course so they can re-watch it.
You can do this by adding the webinar recording as an 'Additional Resource' in the original course (not as a learning resource). That way you will not award CPD for the recording and they'll be able to skip forward and backwards through the video (as opposed to having to watch it in its entirety if added as a learning resource and your active learning tracker is set to strict or medium).
This is done from the 'Modules' page by toggling the 'Additional Resources' section on (green) as shown below and uploading your .mp4 file.
3. For learners who purchased the webinar but were unable to attend, or for those who may want to purchase access to the recording, we recommend creating a copy of the course and uploading the recording of the webinar as a 'Learning Resource'.
Learners can then enrol to the webinar recording course, earn CPD and complete any additional resources and assessments as required.
For learners who did not attend the live webinar, there are a couple of options. Either you can auto-enrol them to the course containing the recording so that they see it in their 'Current Courses' list when they next log in (this means they do not need to enrol to the course themselves from the Catalogue), OR you can email them with a 100% discount code to access the webinar recording course for free from the Catalogue.
To see which Learners attended the webinar and those that did not, you can run a course report by clicking the report icon on the course card. Any learners with 0 mins CPD for the webinar were not present or the webinar.
