Live Lesson Features

This article covers the core features available to you during Live Lessons (webinars).

You have access to an integrated virtual classroom powered by BigBlueButon.

With Live Lessons, you have the tools to make it easier to focus learners on the lesson or event you are hosting. Features like a multi-user whiteboard, easy group polling, screen sharing, and so much more to foster collaboration and keep learners engaged.

Web Conferencing

It features web conferencing elements of webcams, user lists, chat, and presentation laid out in a left-to-right format for easy readability. Regardless of the number of attendees, you can always see who is talking as their names highlight above the presentation. For chat, you can also see who is typing.

Documents Upload

Easy presentation upload with the support for PDF, text, images and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel documents.

Multi-User Whiteboard

Whiteboard annotation of slides for highlighting content with multi-user whiteboard for student engagement.

Chat

Public and private chat.

Polling

Quick and easy polling that encourage more student engagement.

Video Share

The ability to easily share video links (e.g. you tube) within the main presentation area and playback is controlled by the Admin/Instructor.

Shared Notes

Shared notes for easier group collaboration.

Screen Share

Easy, intuitive screen sharing that keep students engaged.

Hand Rise

A hand-raising feature for attendees to let you know if they want to ask a question.

Emojis

Student feedback through the use of Emojis.

Lock & unlock microphones, webcams, chat, shared notes

In some cases you may want to restrict the attendees from accessing certain features or media. You have complete control over what attendees have access to throughout the live lesson.

For example, restricting attendee's ability to share their webcams; reduces bandwidth and focuses viewer attention on uploaded content.

Promote, demote or remove an attendee

As a moderator you are able to promote or demote other attendees' role status in the live meeting or remove a user from the meeting altogether.
